開発プラットフォームは、ハードウェアはSparkfun Thing plus、ソフトウェアはPlatformioのようです。
SDKのnts1_iface.c相当の機能をESP32で実装した上で、STM32版と共通の部分をくくりだし、アプリケーション側からは下位層がESP32でもSTM32でも気にしないでいいような構成になっています。
プルリクエストではなくIssueとしてKorgのリポジトリにポストされていました。

ESP32は電源をそれなりに食いますが、NTS1とWiFiを組み合わせたければ、大変役立ちそうです。他のプラットフォームに移植する際の参考にもなりそうです。
